How To: Watch Apple's Sept. 12 'Gather Round' Event on Your Computer, Smartphone, or Apple TV
Apple revealed three new iPhone models on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at its "Gather Round" event in Cupertino, as well as announced the official release date of iOS 12, its newest mobile operating system. If you missed it and want to watch the full event, here's how to do it on your computer, smartphone, or Apple TV.Aside from two iPhone X successors, the XS and XS Max, and one low-cost imitation, the iPhone XR, Apple also revealed an updated Apple Watch and mentioned the final release dates for macOS Mojave (10.14) and watchOS 5, as well as tvOS 12. When Did the Event Start?The event was held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, which is in Cupertino, California, on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018. What Were the Requirements for Watching Online?To have watched Apple's livestream when it originally aired, you would have needed to have one of the following:iPad, iPhone, iPod touch using Safari on iOS 10 or later Mac using Safari on macOS Sierra 10.12 or later PC using Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 Apple TV, second generation and later running the latest tvOS software Apple also stated that you may have been able to use recent versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox that support MSE (Media Serice Extensions) as well as H.264 (video) and AAC (audio) formats. Other modern web browsers that support those requirements should have also worked.
